Indian envoy discusses ties with newly sworn-in US counterpart Eric Garcetti
Two people were arrested on Wednesday for assaulting and robbing two judges in Bihar's Rohtas district.
The incident took place on Tuesday evening when Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate (ACJM) Ramchandra Prasad was traveling in his private vehicle with Devesh Kumar, who is also the ACJM of Sasaram Civil Court.
The motorcycle hit the car while it was standing, and when the referee reprimanded the two riders, they picked up the bamboo poles from the shoulder and pounced on the former.
According to Mofussil Police Station SHO Rizwan, the case was registered by ACJM Ramchandra Prasad.
When the police arrived at the scene, the assailants fled. According to the complainant, the miscreants also stole Prasad's wallet containing Rs 7,000 in cash. After a complaint was registered, the police arrested Rajaram Singh and Shantana, the two attackers.
