Three people, one of them a woman, were attacked by a tiger in the Palamu Tiger Reserve. All 3 tiger victims survived till reporting time. The condition of one of the three is very critical.
One Arvind Oraon, 30 was injured by the tiger in the lower neck and was rushed to RIMS Ranchi.
The tiger attacked first on Friday, injuring the male. This attack took place in the village of Chungru. On Saturday, a tiger attacked Anwatiker and Joble in two places, injuring one male and one female.
Palamu Tiger Reserve South Division Deputy Director Kumar Ashish confirmed these three tiger attacks on humans. This is the first of its kind in the Palamu Tiger Reserve where a tiger has harmed humans. This tiger is from Chhattisgarh.
