Ferry ghat owner suspected of poisoning 10 monkeys with pesticide-laced bananas
At least 20 people were killed in south-western Saudi Arabia on Monday when a packed bus crashed into a bridge, overturned and burst into flames, Saudi state media said.
According to the report, 29 other people were injured in the accident and footage was broadcast showing the charred remains of the bus. It said the crash occurred when the vehicle's brakes failed in the southwestern province of Asir, bordering Yemen.
The crash occurred during the first week of Ramzan when worshipers fast from dawn to dusk. Many people travel to enjoy nightly feasts with family and friends during the Muslim holy month.
