Death count rises to 288 in Odisha train tragedy, 803 remain injured
Dead body of a 9-year-old girl missing for 4 days was found in Vaishali. The girl used to study in fourth grade. On May 16, she left home for school. When she did not return home by noon, the family began looking for her, but she was nowhere to be found.
Her body was found on May 19, lying among banana and cannabis plants behind the house. After the murder, the girl's body was burned with acid to hide her identity. The child also had four fingers amputated on one hand.
The girl was missing for 4 days. On Friday, the family found her dead body lying behind the house. The case relates to the village of Harprasad. The girl has been identified as Karina Kumari, daughter of Shiv Kumar Das.
Kareena's grandfather Siyasan Das is in a bad condition and is crying. He said someone kidnapped his granddaughter. After she was killed, the body was burned with acid. Four fingers of the right hand were also cut off. The girl came out of the house in her school clothes. This was how her dead body was identified.
After finding out the information, the police arrived at the scene. The SFL and Dog Squad teams were also called. At present, the police have sent the dead body to Sadar Hajipur Hospital for autopsy.
