Mohammad Yusuf, a bangle seller who ventured to Bangalore two years ago in pursuit of employment, returned home a few months ago as a kidney patient, leaving his family in turmoil.
In a bid to rescue his ailing brother, 25-year-old Mohammad Raja has embarked on a grueling 1,743 km journey to Mumbai, hoping to seek aid from renowned actors Salman Khan and Sonu Sood, renowned for their charitable initiatives.
Yusuf's father, Mohammad Shoaib Alam, residing in Habibi Nagar, expressed his initial delight when his son secured a job at a logistics firm in Bangalore. Not only did Yusuf provide financial support to the family, but he also harbored grand aspirations for their future and his own.
However, his dreams were shattered upon discovering his kidney condition, which necessitated immediate treatment, estimated to cost around Rs 35 to 40 lakh. Desperate for his son's well-being, Shoaib fervently stated, "My only wish is for Yusuf's safety, bestowed upon us by the divine. It is my younger son, Raja, who has stepped forward to face this challenge and save his brother."
Raja, displaying unwavering determination, outlined his plan to cover 100 to 150 km daily, resting along the highway each night until reaching Mumbai. He estimated completing the arduous journey within 15 days. "I am undertaking this endeavor to save my brother's life," Raja asserted. "I am hopeful that Salman Khan, Sonu Sood, and other esteemed celebrities will extend their support. Bhai ko bachane ke liye mera yah prayas hai," he added, emphasizing his commitment to rescue his sibling.
