Gufi Paintal, the esteemed actor famous for his portrayal of the iconic character 'Shakuni mama' in the legendary television series "Mahabharat," breathed his last on Monday.

He succumbed to age-related ailments at a hospital in Mumbai, as confirmed by his nephew Hiten Paintal.

At the age of 79, Gufi Paintal bid farewell, leaving behind a legacy of memorable performances and a profound impact on the Indian entertainment industry.

His portrayal of Shakuni mama, the cunning and manipulative character from the epic saga "Mahabharat," endeared him to audiences across the nation.
