Speeding bus mows down pedestrian at MG Road more, driver flee
In yet another dog attack in the NCR region, a seven-year-old boy was badly mauled by a pit bull in Ghaziabad's Crossings Republik neighborhood on Thursday evening, following which locals protested outside the police station demanding action.
The incident took place at Crossings Chitravan when a boy was playing in the area and was attacked by a domestic pit bull. The case was filed at the police station of the Crossing of the Republic and further investigation is underway.
The boy's mother said doctors recommended reconstructive surgery for her son because the dog bit his ear and left critical wounds on his back. After the attacks, she said the owners of the dogs did not even help take the boy to the doctor or home.
"My son came home bloody and hopeless all alone and they didn't even bother to help him," she said.
