Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Friday said the Ashok Gehlot government is number one in corruption.
“Gehlot Ji's government is top in corruption. This government has done a lot of work to break all corruption records. Gehlot has broken all the promises he made,” Shah said while addressing a rally in Rajasthan's Udaipur to mark the completion of nine years of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's rule.
He criticized Gehlot for breaking his promises and stressed the need for his government to resign. He further said that "Gehlot ji is roaming here and there at this age but it is of no use as the time has come for his reign to end."
Shah confidently predicted that the BJP would form a majority government in the 2023 Assembly and 2024 Lok Sabha elections after seeing a massive show of enthusiasm in the Assembly.
Pointing to the massive crowd at the rally, Amit Shah said, “I see on the ground in Mewar that the BJP will form a government with a full majority in the 2023 assembly elections and also in the 2024 Lok Sabha polls.
According to the Union Home Minister, the nine years of the Modi government were devoted to the welfare of the poor. He emphasized that the respect people feel for India is the same as Prime Minister Modi has earned in his foreign tours.
"The respect PM Modi has around the world is not the respect of the BJP or anyone else, it is the respect of the 130 million people of this country," he said.
Shah further highlighted that 80 million farmers have received Rs 16,000 crore directly in their bank accounts and said, “80 million farmers have received Rs 16,000 crore directly in their bank accounts. This is what our Prime Minister Narendra Modi did. PM Modi has ensured that fresh drinking water reaches the homes of 43 thousand families in Rajasthan.
