SDM's daring rescue, police officers save 200 lives in Punjab floods

Thousands of people are facing huge problems due to floods in Punjab. Someone's life is in trouble, someone's valuables have been washed away and someone's livestock has drowned.

Army and NDRF teams deployed by the Punjab government are engaged in round-the-clock rescue operations. Along with this, Cabinet Ministers, MLAs and administrative officers are also taking stock of the situation by arriving at the venue.

Some such pictures came to the fore during the rescue operation, looking at which it can be said that humanity is still alive in this world. Some ministers and officials not only saved the lives of many people by becoming angels in this difficult time, but also provided them with food and drink by taking them to safe places.

When the flood water reached the Gurudwara Bibangarh Sahib of Shri Fatehgarh Sahib, a young man got stuck in it. The current of water was very fast. Because of this, he was unable to even stand. The young man couldn't even swim, but he tried to get out again and again. Meanwhile, SDM Dr. Sanjeev Kumar who reached ground zero to assess the situation did not care for his life and jumped into the water without any delay. He got the young man out safely. ASI Kuldeep Singh, ASI Harnam Singh and Gunman Kamaldeep Singh collaborated on this SDM adventure.

People appreciate this work of SDM. Relatives of the young man rescued by SDM consider him no less than an angel, while SDM says he did no great work but did his duty. The essence of every religion is the same, to help others in difficult times and they have also done this work as mankind.

3 police officers from Punjab, including a woman posted in Mohali, rescued 200 people. SI Abhishek Sharma, Constable Rinku Kumar and Constable Pinky Rani rescued more than 200 people from Valmiki Colony in Mohali. This area was completely submerged in water. These people included 71-year-old Amrik Singh and 8-year-old Nitin.
