President to felicitate W. Singhbhum DC for land digitization on July 18

West Singhbhum Deputy Commissioner (DC) Ananya Mittal will be honored with the Bhoomi Samman platinum certificate. The honor will be conferred by President Droupadi Murmu on July 18 at Vigyan Bhawan New Delhi.

West Singhbhum is one of the nine districts in the state and one of the 75 districts across the country that have been included in the "Digital Indian Land Records Modernization Program (DILRMP)" launched by the central government and hence have been selected for the award.

The government of India appreciates these districts 'Bhoomi Samman digitized land-related records in a better way.

Apart from West Singhbhum, the other districts of the state are Chatra, Dumka, Giridih, Gumla, Khunti, Lohardaga, Seraikela-Kharsawan, and Simdega where land record digitization is progressing at a good pace. More than 99% of work on the digitization of sale deeds, Khatiyan, and other land-related documents has been completed in these nine districts.

Digitization of land records in 766 districts of 28 states and union territories across India is underway under DILRMP. In this, they received an award from DC President and Deputy Commissioner of 75 districts including West Singhbhum for digitizing land records in a better way.
