Referring to the construction of a new parliament building costing over Rs 1,500 crore, Abhishek Banerjee highlighted the apparent disparity when it comes to funds for crucial schemes in Bengal. He asserted that funds for the state's housing scheme have been withheld, posing a significant challenge to the development and welfare of the people while Central governemnt spends exponentially on unnecessary building of structures.
