The film has notched up a staggering collection of over ₹600 crore worldwide. In a spectacular twist, Rajinikanth received a remarkable ₹100 crore cheque from Kalanithi Maran, chairman of Sun Pictures, the production house behind 'Jailer.'
'Jailer' has shattered box office records, surpassing the ₹625 crore milestone globally. Trade analyst Manobala Vijayabalan shared the exciting news on social media, noting that the film raced to this milestone in just 22 days. The journey toward the ₹650 crore club has now begun.
In an extraordinary gesture, Rajinikanth received an envelope containing a ₹100 crore cheque from City Union Bank, Mandaveli branch, Chennai. This cheque represents the profit-sharing arrangement for 'Jailer' and is in addition to the ₹110 crore remuneration the superstar received for the film. This substantial sum cements Rajinikanth's position as the highest-paid actor in India, with a total earnings of ₹210 crore from 'Jailer.'
Alongside the impressive financial accolades, Rajinikanth was also presented with two luxury cars by the film's producer. These vehicles, a BMW X7 and a BMW i7, add a touch of opulence to the superstar's remarkable success.
