SRK's Jawan sets new records, targets 300 crore club

'King Khan of Bollywood,' is proving his regal status once again with his latest release, "Jawan." The film has been smashing box office records since its release and continues to dominate the charts, leaving other recent releases trailing behind.

"Jawan" hit the theaters on September 7, coinciding with the auspicious occasion of Janmashtami. Post-release, Shah Rukh Khan is not just competing with other films; he's breaking records set by his own film, "Pathaan," which premiered in January this year.

On Sunday, "Jawan" made a remarkable 81 crore rupees, marking its highest single-day earnings to date. The Atlee-directed film had already shattered records by becoming the biggest opening day earner in Indian cinema history, raking in 75 crore rupees. It followed up with 53 crore rupees on the second day and 74.50 crore rupees on the third day, becoming the first Bollywood film to cross the 200 crore rupee mark in just three days.

The total box office collection for "Jawan" has now reached nearly 285 crore rupees, and it is expected to cross the 300 crore rupee milestone on Monday. Early estimates for Monday suggest that "Jawan" has already earned 7 crore rupees, making it the fastest film to enter the 300 crore club in India.
