In a startling turn of events, Mohammad Jasimuddin, the councilor for Kolkata Municipal Corporation Ward 39, is facing grave accusations from a resident of his ward, Arshi Farooq.
Arshi has alleged that Jasimuddin, in conjunction with a colleague, made multiple inappropriate advances towards her, recorded explicit videos, and subsequently attempted to blackmail her. To substantiate her assertions, Arshi states she has a lot of evidence.
Conversely, Jasimuddin vehemently denies all allegations, asserting that they are unfounded and part of a conspiracy to besmirch his reputation. The case has been officially registered at the Jorabagan police station. Watch the video to hear both parties' statements.
