Shah Rukh Khan, one of Bollywood's biggest stars, is set to conclude a successful year with the release of his third film in 2023, "Dunki," expected to hit theaters around Christmas. This eagerly awaited film, the plot of which has been shrouded in secrecy, has garnered immense anticipation from fans and critics alike.
Actor Boman Irani, who recently attended the inauguration of CINTAA's new facility in Mumbai, gave a glimpse into the film by sharing his thoughts. Though Irani didn't reveal much, he assured fans that "it has turned out well," adding to the excitement surrounding the film.
"Dunki" is expected to surpass the hype and collections of Shah Rukh Khan's earlier 2023 releases, Pathaan and Jawan. While Pathaan had initially claimed the title of the year's biggest film, it was later surpassed by SRK's Jawan in September. The release of "Dunki" sets the stage for an intriguing 'SRK vs. SRK' battle at the box office. Directed by renowned filmmaker Rajkumar Hirani, "Dunki is notable for marking SRK's first collaboration with the director after missed opportunities on earlier projects like Munna Bhai MBBS and 3 Idiots. The film also stars Taapsee Pannu and is reportedly centered around the issue of 'donkey flights,' exploring the illegal migration of people from India to European countries by crossing borders.
