In a tragic incident, a woman and her five-year-old daughter were discovered dead with their throats slit in Bihar's Buxar district, according to Buxar Superintendent of Police Manish Kumar. The bodies of the victims, identified as Anita Devi (29) and her daughter Soni Kumari, were found at their residence in Ballapur village.
Police suspect that the mother and daughter were "killed with a sharp weapon." The unsettling discovery took place in the absence of Anita's husband, Babloo Yadav, who was away in Ara in Bhojpur at the time of the incident. Anita Devi's father-in-law, Lala Yadav, informed the police that his other sons made the grim discovery inside the victims' room and promptly reported it to the authorities.
