Shami, the star bowler, expressed gratitude on X, thanking Indians for their support and appreciating PM Modi's motivational visit. Despite the loss, PM Modi's gesture was deemed special and motivating by players like Ravindra Jadeja. The Indian team, unbeaten in the tournament until the final, faced disappointment as Australia secured their sixth World Cup title.

After Australia clinched their sixth Cricket World Cup title, an emotional Mohammad Shami thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi for visiting the dressing room to boost the morale of Team India. Shami, the highest wicket-taker in the tournament, expressed gratitude on X, acknowledging the support from Indians and appreciating PM Modi's special and motivating visit.

Prime Minister Modi, who was present in the stadium to witness the final, consoled the players and wrote a heartfelt message, praising their talent and determination.
