Barabazar shops sell quality products better than shops at Malls : CM Mamata Banerjee

In a show of support for small businesses, West Bengal Chief Minister highlighted their significance during the Bengal Global Business Summit (BGBS).

She underscored the importance of small roadside hotels and individuals working in small shops, categorizing them as vital contributors to the business sector. Further, the Chief Minister praised Barabazar region of Kolkata, recognizing it as the largest market in South East Asia. She said "despite shops in Barabazar not selling branded goods, qualoity of products there are superior in comparison to shopping malls."
