TMC leader Abhishek Banerjee faces recurrence of eye problems, CM Mamata Banerjee visits

Trinamool Congress's All India General Secretary, Abhishek Banerjee, is experiencing a recurrence of eye problems, prompting a visit from Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee. The development comes after the conclusion of the Bengal Global Business Summit on Wednesday, and Mamata Banerjee took the opportunity to check on Abhishek at his residence.

Abhishek Banerjee had previously faced serious eye injuries in a car accident on the Durgapur Expressway in 2016. Since then, he has undergone extensive eye treatments, including overseas medical consultations. Recently, he traveled abroad for further eye treatment.

Sources indicate that the Diamond Harbor MP is currently grappling with eye problems, including an infection and the formation of blood clots, attributed to the use of contact lenses.
