Narendra Modi's Bharat Ratna to Karpoori Thakur honor uplifts social harmony: Giriraj Singh

In Begusarai, Union Minister Giriraj Singh has said that by giving Bharat Ratna award to Karpoori Thakur, Narendra Modi has honored the deprived people and social harmony of the entire country including Bihar. On one hand, Narendra Modi has revived the culture of India by consecrating the life of Lord Shri Ram on 22nd. Karpoori Thakur was honored not because of Nitish Kumar's demand but because of Narendra Modi's sensitivity. On the other hand, Karpoori Thakur, the symbol of Shabari, was respected.

The Congress government did not have the compassion to honor others except its own family. Regarding Tejashwi Yadav raising the demand of giving Bharat Ratna award to Karpoori Thakur, Giriraj Singh said why both father and son were not given the honor during the Congress rule.
