PM distributes 71,000 appointment letters online across India

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday distributed around 71,000 appointment letters through video conferencing from 45 places in the country under the Rozgar Mela. He also launched the 'Karmayogi Prarambh Module', an online orientation course for new appointees. In Ranchi, Union Tribal Affairs Minister and former Jharkhand Chief Minister Arjun Munda distributed the appointment letters at the CRPF camp in Sembo.  A considerable number of posts are filled by the Ministry of Home Affairs in various Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF).

The Rozgar Mela is a step towards fulfilling the Prime Minister's commitment to give top priority to employment generation. In October, 75,000 letters of appointment were handed over to the new appointees under the leadership of Rozgar Mel. Physical copies of the appointment letters to the new appointees were handed over at 45 locations across the country. In addition to previously filled job categories, the positions of teachers, lecturers, nurses, nurses, doctors, pharmacists, radiologists and other technical and non-medical positions are being filled.

The Prime Minister said that the youth is the greatest strength of the nation. It is the highest priority of the central government to utilize its talent and energy for nation building. He welcomed the new civil servants and reminded them that they are assuming this important responsibility at a very special time i.e. Amrit Kaal. Modi highlighted their role in the country's determination to be a developed nation in Amrit Kaal. Started Karmayogi Prarambh module. The module is an online orientation course for all newly appointed in various ministries. It will include a code of conduct for government employees, ethics and integrity in the workplace, HR policies and other benefits and allowances to help them acclimate to the policies and transition smoothly into their new roles. "The possibility of new jobs in the state and private sector is constantly increasing. More importantly, these opportunities are emerging for the youth in their own towns and villages,” Modi said, adding that we are all colleagues and fellow travelers on the journey to make India a developed country.

The Prime Minister said that according to experts, India has become a major force in the service sector and will soon become the manufacturing hub of the world as well. He highlighted new opportunities created by the measures in sectors ranging from start-ups to self-employment and space to drones.He stressed that these nomination letters are only an entry point that opens up a world of growth for them and urged them to become meritorious candidates by learning from the experiences of their seniors. “We are already on the way to transform India into a developed country. Let us commit to moving forward with this vision,” he said.
