A demonstration organized by the Trinamool Congress trade union INTTUC unfolded outside the Divisional Railway Manager (DRM) office near Howrah station, denouncing the restrictions imposed on hawkers at various railway stations, including Howrah, and condemning the alleged atrocities committed by the Railway Protection Force (RPF).

The protest meeting witnessed the presence of prominent leaders, including INTTUC State President Ritabrata Bhattacharya, North Howrah MLA Gautam Chaudhary, Howrah Municipality Chief Administrator Sujoy Chakraborty, and Howrah District Yuva Trinamool President Kailash Mishra, along with several state district leaders of INTTUC.
