Ferry ghat owner suspected of poisoning 10 monkeys with pesticide-laced bananas
In a recent "Ask Me Anything" session on Reddit, an anonymous flight attendant with 25 years of experience at a major US airline shared shocking and "disgusting" experiences witnessed during their career. Responding to a question about the most appalling sight on a flight, the flight attendant disclosed encountering "used condoms, nasty underwear (male and female), and used tampons." Additionally, the attendant highlighted the stress caused by disobedient passengers, noting frequent instances of individuals attempting to smoke in the lavatory.
The flight attendant's revelations extended to encounters with drunk passengers causing trouble, with one spotted approximately every six months. The attendant also addressed personal interactions, confirming involvement with a passenger but rejecting offers from fellow crew members. Despite the challenging aspects of the job, such as passengers engaging in disruptive behavior like fighting, defecating, or urinating in their seats, the flight attendant emphasized the perks, including travel benefits, healthcare, and the opportunity to experience different cities daily.
However, the downside involves extended periods away from home and dealing with difficult passengers, highlighting the importance of maintaining a strong relationship with one's spouse. Regarding compensation, the flight attendant shared details, mentioning a starting pay of around $24 per flight hour, with top-out pay reaching approximately $75 per flight hour after 15 years of service.
