A shocking incident unfolded in Lawyers Colony in New Agra, Uttar Pradesh, where a man identified as Tarun Pratap Singh allegedly killed his elderly mother and 12-year-old son before hanging himself. The gruesome discovery was made on Sunday morning by the family maid, Geeta, who found the main door wide open upon her arrival at the residence around 8 am. Singh, who worked in a PVC pipe factory, reportedly recorded a video confession admitting to financial decisions he believed were wrong, expressing his intention to end his life after taking the lives of his mother, wife, and son due to his deteriorating financial condition.
The tragedy occurred on Saturday night, with Singh allegedly planning to also kill his wife, who was away with relatives at Khatoo Shyam temple in Rajasthan. Initial suspicions point towards possible strangulation as the cause of death, with the police discovering empty cigarette cases at the scene. Singh's recent financial losses and the loss of his father seven months ago are believed to have contributed to the tragic turn of events, as revealed in his recorded confession.
