Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to distribute more than one lakh appointment letters to newly recruited individuals on February 12 through a virtual event. The distribution will take place at 47 locations across the country as part of the Rozgar Mela initiative. In addition to the appointment letters, Prime Minister Modi will lay the foundation stone for Phase I of the Integrated Complex "Karmayogi Bhavan" in the national capital. The complex aims to foster collaboration and synergy among various components of Mission Karmayogi, promoting effective governance and skill development.
Recruitments are underway across Central Government Departments, as well as State Governments and Union Territories. The new appointees will join various Ministries and Departments, including the Department of Revenue, Ministry of Home Affairs, Department of Higher Education, Department of Atomic Energy, Ministry of Defence, Department of Financial Services, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Ministry of Tribal Affairs, and Ministry of Railways.
The Rozgar Mela aligns with Prime Minister Modi's commitment to prioritizing employment generation in the country, providing opportunities for youth empowerment and direct participation in national development. The appointees will also have the chance to enhance their skills through Karmayogi Prarambh, an online module offering more than 880 e-learning courses on the iGOT Karmayogi portal.
