Bihar accident: 2 killed, several injured as Siliguri-bound bus overturns in Katihar

A tragic accident occurred in Katihar, Bihar, as a passenger bus traveling from Gumla, Jharkhand to Siliguri, West Bengal overturned near 31 Kabir Math in the Kursela police station area. The bus, identified as a Shivan sleeper passenger coach, lost control and veered into a roadside pit on NH31 Kosi Road Bridge, resulting in the loss of two lives and leaving numerous others injured. The injured passengers were promptly transported to PHC Kursela for medical treatment.

The incident, which took place on Monday morning, has sparked concerns about road safety and transportation regulations in the region. Authorities are investigating the cause of the accident and working to assist the victims and their families during this challenging time.
