Security measures at the Delhi High Court were ramped up on Thursday following a threatening email received by court authorities, threatening to bomb the court premises.
Late on Wednesday, an email threatened the authorities of the "biggest bomb explosion" on Thursday. The court's Registrar General received this email.
"I will blow you up with a bomb on February 15. This blast will be the biggest in Delhi. Deploy as much security as possible and call all the ministers and we will blow you up together," the email read.
Simultaneously, Bihar's Director General of Police also received a bomb threat via WhatsApp messages and audio clips, further escalating security concerns across state borders. The accused was later arrested from Karnataka and was brought to Patna.
