The Institution of Engineers will host the 19th National Olympiad of Creativity on November 26 at its premises in Sakchi. Held after two years, the Olympiad will witness students from more than 20 schools showcasing their design and science skills on this platform. The Olympiad is organized to promote creativity and innovation among young people. Participation also encourages students by recognizing their skills in science and technology. Details about the Olympics were shared at a press conference on Thursday.

"The Olympiad in the competition includes all areas of applied sciences. physics, mathematics, general knowledge, arts and crafts skills. Olympiad is a test for them and the scope includes everything from written tests to practical model building which would require them to innovate, team work and practical craft skills,” said Institution of Engineers, India Chairman Probal Ghosh.

Two categories of the Olympiad - direct domain based on the theme of "using liquid energy for a green earth" will be for teams outside the station." Open domain with urban schools will be based on the theme of "Only One Earth" focusing on the area of ​​sustainable living in harmony with nature. " Student teams from participating schools will have to bring working models on the given topic. This year, 16 teams from the stations and five city teams will participate in the Olympics. The teams at the stop will be from Bhubaneshwar, Tirupati, Bokaro, Ranchi, Durgapur, Chaibasa and many more.

The Olympiad is supported by Tata Steel Ltd, Tinplate Company of India Ltd, Linde India Ltd, Tata Steel UISL, Jamipol Ltd, Tata Power, ISWP, JCAPCPL, India Eco Lab, Tata Pigments, CSIR-NML and CSIR-Jigyasa.
