The Enforcement Directorate (ED) launched a significant operation on Wednesday, raiding 15 locations spanning from Delhi-NCR to Mumbai and West Bengal in connection with the Mahadev App case. This move comes as part of an ongoing investigation into alleged money laundering associated with the betting app. The raids targeted individuals believed to be linked with the app, with a substantial deployment of security personnel accompanying the ED teams.
The ED's probe into the Mahadev online gaming app case has led to the arrest of nine individuals so far, including Nitish Dewan, Nitin Tibrewal, Amit Aggarwal, and others close to the app's promoter. Additionally, the investigation has implicated prominent figures from Chhattisgarh, with ED officials scrutinizing their involvement. The agency has also summoned several celebrities, including Bollywood actors, in connection with the case, and has filed two charge sheets, naming app promoters Saurav Chandrakar and Ravi Uppal among others.
