In a thrilling match against the Kochi Blue Spikers, the Thunderbolts emerged victorious with a scoreline of 16-14, 15-13, 11-15, 15-5 at the Jawaharlal Nehru Indoor Stadium, Chennai on Tuesday.
Vinit Kumar's stellar performance earned him the Player of the Match award for his exceptional contributions on the court.
The Kolkata team started strong with Amit and Vinit leading the charge with powerful spikes. Early on, Jan Krol and Aman Kumar's attacks kept Kochi on their toes, while Abhinav's presence in the middle posed a challenge for Kolkata's attackers. However, it was Vinit's efficiency in attacks and Ashwal Kumar's strategic play from the middle that allowed the Thunderbolts to gain an advantage.
