Fatal head-on collision between truck and dumper leaves two dead

A tragic accident occurred near Maradighi of Rejinagar police station area,claims the lives of two individuals. The collision between a truck and a dumper took place at 7 am on Tuesday, resulting in serious injuries to the drivers and helpers of both vehicles.

Despite efforts by local residents to rush them to the hospital, doctors declared them dead upon arrival. Following the incident, a temporary traffic halt ensued as a form of protest, which was later resolved by the intervention of Rejinagar police station authorities.

Locals have expressed grievances regarding the recurring accidents on the 2 km single-lane road, emphasizing their repeated pleas to the administration for improvements. Despite their efforts to bring attention to the issue, the lack of action has left the community feeling neglected and frustrated.
