Kolkata bus owners seek relaxation of rules for 15-year-old buses, file petition in High Court
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) declared the results for class 12 on Monday, unveiling a pass percentage of 87.98%. Impressively, more than 24,000 candidates scored above 95%, with over 1.16 lakh achieving above 90%. Notably, this year's pass rate mirrors the last year's figure.
In a slight dip from the previous year, over 1.22 lakh students find themselves in compartmental status. 122170 or 7.54 per cent of the total students would have reappear for the exams.
Girls have outshined boys by over 6.40 percentage points. Over 91 per cent girls have passed the CBSE class 12 board exams. This year, the CBSE conducted the Class 12 exams from February 15 to April 2, in a single shift from 10:30 AM to 1:30 PM.
Regarding the Class 10 exams, the pass percentage is 93.60 per cent.
