Denouncing communal rhetoric, Modi affirmed his commitment to inclusive governance, stating, "The day I will start doing Hindu-Muslim, I will not be fit for public life. I will not do Hindu-Muslim. This is my pledge."
The Prime Minister's statement follows criticism over previous remarks targeting Muslims made during election rallies in various states. Accusations against the Congress party regarding wealth redistribution to Muslims were rebutted by Modi, who defended his position while alleging misrepresentation of his statements.
