Kolkata bus owners seek relaxation of rules for 15-year-old buses, file petition in High Court
A video footage from May 13 at Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal's residence has emerged amid a controversy over allegations by AAP Rajya Sabha MP Swati Maliwal. Maliwal accused Kejriwal's personal assistant, Bibhav Kumar, of assaulting her.
In the 52-second video, Maliwal is seen arguing with the staff at Kejriwal's residence. She can be heard insisting she called the police and would leave only when they arrived. "I will make sure you lose your job if you touch me," Maliwal said. The source of the video, which is now circulating on social media, is unknown. Maliwal responded to the footage, claiming it was taken out of context and asserting that the full truth would come out when the CCTV footage is reviewed.
"This 'political hitman' is making efforts to save himself. Truth will emerge after CCTV footage of Delhi CM's residence, drawing room is investigated," Maliwal stated on X. "Who makes a video of someone being beaten up? The truth will be revealed when CCTV footage of the house and the room is checked," Maliwal added, emphasizing, "God is watching everything."
Earlier this morning, details of the FIR filed by Maliwal against Bibhav Kumar surfaced. According to the FIR, he slapped her 7-8 times on the face and hit her chest, stomach, and sensitive areas. "He brutally dragged and deliberately pulled my shirt up. After that, Bibhav Kumar did not relent and attacked me by kicking me in my chest, stomach and pelvis area with his legs," the FIR read.
