Parineeti Chopra and Raghav Chadha's Siddhivinayak temple visit amid eye surgery reports

Bollywood actress Parineeti Chopra and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) MP Raghav Chadha made headlines as they visited Mumbai's revered Siddhivinayak Temple on Friday. The couple sought blessings amidst reports of Raghav undergoing eye surgery in the UK. Parineeti looked stunning in an off-white salwar suit, while Raghav sported a plain white kurta pyjama set, donning dark sunglasses to cover his eyes. They graciously greeted the paparazzi with folded hands upon entering and exiting the temple, with Raghav shielding his wife from the mob gathered outside.

Raghav's absence during the Lok Sabha elections had sparked curiosity, which was later clarified by an AAP minister, citing his departure to the UK for treating a severe eye ailment to avoid potential blindness. The couple's visit to the temple amidst such reports further fueled speculation about Raghav's health.

In September 2024, Parineeti and Raghav exchanged vows in a grand ceremony attended by prominent figures including Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal and Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann. Meanwhile, Parineeti continues to enjoy the success of her recent film, "Chamkila," released on Netflix in April.
