Uttar Pradesh delegation to visit US for fetching investments under 'Invest UP'

•  A UP government delegation will be visiting New York and San Francisco this week to attract investors for the state under 'Invest UP'

• . The focus of the delegation would be on IT and electronics, agriculture and food processing, defense and aerospace, pharmaceutical and medical device, energy, venture capital, retail, auto components, electric vehicles and textile sectors

• The delegation will fly to San Francisco on December 14 and return on 18th December

An Uttar Pradesh government delegation, led by state finance minister Suresh Khanna, along with chief minister Yogi Adityanath's adviser Awanish Awasthi, will visit New York and San Francisco this week to attract investors for the state under 'Invest UP', it said. UP Govt press release on Sunday. The focus of the delegation would be on IT and electronics, agriculture and food processing, defense and aerospace, pharmaceutical and medical device, energy, venture capital, retail, auto components, electric vehicles and textile sectors.

According to the statement, the delegation will comprise Additional Principal Secretary and CEO of 'Invest UP', Arvind Kumar, Secretary to CM Yogi Adityanath, Amit Singh and UP MLA Siddharth Nath Singh. The delegation will interact with the Indian diaspora on December 12 in New York. It will be followed by the Investor Showcase for the “Uttar Pradesh Global Investor Summit 2023” on December 13. Randhir Jaiswal, Consular General of India, will deliver the keynote address for both events. Deputy Consul General Varun Jeph will deliver the vote of thanks.
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will also address the two events via video.

The delegation will fly to San Francisco on December 14. He will then participate in the Investor Showcase at the "Uttar Pradesh Global Investor Summit 2023" to be held on December 15. Consulate General of India, San Francisco, USA, Dr. Nagendra Prasad will deliver the welcome address and also the vote of thanks at the event. During the visit, the delegation will also meet with several American companies and startups aimed at attracting investments for the state in target sectors, the report said.The delegation will return to India on December 18.
