Kolkata bus owners seek relaxation of rules for 15-year-old buses, file petition in High Court
Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Singh on Monday slammed the claims made by the Tihar prison authorities about Arvind Kejriwal's health, in which they said that the Delhi Chief Minister was doing fine and his vitals were normal.
Sanjay Singh, who alleged that Arvind Kejriwal lost 8.5 kg of weight and his blood sugar level dropped below 50 mg/dL five times following his arrest, said that the prison authorities committed a crime by releasing the medical report of an inmate and disagreed with their claim.
"A team of AIIMS doctors has been examining Arvind Kejriwal's health, and they have found out that Kejriwal is losing weight fast and is suffering from hypoglycemia. His blood sugar level dropped below 50 mg/dL five times, which could have caused him to slip into a coma or even resulted in his death", Sanjay Singh claimed.
Earlier on Monday, the Tihar Jail authorities rejected the AAP's allegations concerning Arvind Kejriwal's health. The jail authorities stated that the inmate’s health was under continuous monitoring, and he was receiving regular assessments by medical professionals.
