On Monday, the state government transferred IAS, IPS, and WBCS officers to several departments. IAS Roshni Sen has been made Additional Chief Secretary of the Environment Department as well as Chairman-MD of West Bengal Industrial Development Corporation (WBIDC).
IAS Md. Ghulam Ali Ansari has been made Commissioner of the Minority Department and Madrasa Education in the Malda Division. IAS Avnindra Singh has been made Commissioner of the Burdwan Division in the Labor Department. IAS Barun Kumar Rai has been made Additional Chief Secretary in the Labor Department. IAS Choten Dhendhup Lama has been given the post of Chief Secretary of the Caste and Tribe Department.
Apart from this, among WBCS officers, Rahul Majumdar has been made Additional Secretary in the PNRD Department, Suchita Kujur has been made Joint Secretary in the PNRD Department, and Priyanka Deb has been made Senior Deputy Secretary in the PNRD Department.
Apart from this, Saugata Maiti, Piyali Mandal, Shubhankar Bhattacharya, Sayan Dasgupta, and Devshree Mukherjee have been made Senior Deputy Secretaries in the PNRD Department.
