Ferry ghat owner suspected of poisoning 10 monkeys with pesticide-laced bananas
A 22-year-old woman was found dead with her throat slit at a paying guest accommodation in Koramangala in Bengaluru. Police said that the deceased, Kriti Kumari from Bihar, worked in a private company and was staying in an accommodation in a VR layout in Koramangala.
The suspect, a man, broke into the PG premises between 11.10 and 11.30 pm on Tuesday with a knife. He attacked Kriti near a room on the third floor, and she died on the spot. Koramangala police, along with South East Division DCP Sara Fatima, rushed to the scene.
Police are currently tracking the accused man based on CCTV footage. They suspect that the crime was committed by an acquaintance. Sara Fatima said, "An accused entered the accommodation where she was staying, and slit her throat, following which she died on the spot. We are investigating the motive behind the murder. The accused has been identified, and we are trying to trace him."
