Kolkata bus owners seek relaxation of rules for 15-year-old buses, file petition in High Court
The ninth meeting of NITI Aayog is scheduled to take place on July 27, chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The meeting will see the participation of Chief Ministers and Lieutenant Governors from various states. However, Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar will not attend the meeting. Instead, Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary will represent Bihar.
The India Alliance has announced a boycott of this meeting, citing discriminatory budget allocations as the reason. Following this decision, Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann has also opted out of attending the NITI Aayog meeting.
Despite the boycott, West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee will attend the meeting. CM Banerjee is expected to arrive in Delhi on July 25 for a three-day visit, during which she will participate in the NITI Aayog Governing Council meeting on July 27.
