Kolkata bus owners seek relaxation of rules for 15-year-old buses, file petition in High Court
The 'victim' of the alleged Raj Bhavan molestation case has escalated her plea for justice by approaching President Draupadi Murmu and Prime Minister Narendra Modi. This move follows her previous approach to the Supreme Court against West Bengal Governor CV Anand Bose.
A week ago, the woman activist detailed the incident in emails sent to the President, Vice President, Prime Minister, and the Union Home Minister. This week, she sent another letter, increasing the pressure on Governor Bose.
The Raj Bhavan molestation case is currently pending in the Supreme Court. Earlier this month, the 'victim' sought the Court's intervention against Governor Bose. Last Friday, the case was presented before a bench comprising Chief Justice DY Chandrachud, Justice JB Pardiwala, and Justice Manoj Mishra.
The three-judge division bench issued several orders, including notices to the states and allowing the Center's involvement. Additionally, the bench directed the Attorney General to cooperate in the case.
