The memories of UP's Gonda railway accident have not yet faded away, a day ago the Bihar Sampark Kranti Express narrowly escaped a major mishap and on Tuesday morning, another train bites the dust as 18 coaches of the Howrah-CSMT (Mumbai) Mail derailed and hit a goods train in Jharkhand near Jamshedpur.
As per official reports, 2 people died and about 6 people were injured. However, the numbers of injured passengers are suspected to be much higher. Opposition wasted no time to slam the BJP government and Railway Minister Ashiwni Vaishnaw.
Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee called it a series of nightmares. Meanwhile, other TMC leaders also slammed the central government.
