Bidhannagar North Police Station has arrested four individuals following a complaint about a fraudulent tourism company. The complainant, who intended to go on a tour, visited the agency's office near City Center One and paid 75,000 for the services. However, no arrangements were made for his tour.
Acting on the complaint, the police discovered that the agency was running a scam by posing as a legitimate tourism company. During the raid, several documents were seized from the office, and the four suspects were arrested.
The Bidhannagar North police are currently investigating the involvement of other potential members of this fraudulent operation. The arrested individuals will be presented in Bidhan Nagar court today, where the police will request their custody for further interrogation.
