PM Modi initiates 'Har Ghar Tiranga', calls all citizens to participate

As the 77th Independence Day approaches, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has once again called upon the citizens of India to show their support for the 'Har Ghar Tiranga' campaign by changing their profile pictures to the Indian Tricolour.

Taking to social media platform X (formerly Twitter), PM Modi announced that he had updated his profile picture to the Indian flag and encouraged others to do the same in celebration of the nation's independence.

The 'Har Ghar Tiranga' campaign, initiated by PM Modi two years ago as part of the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, has evolved into a national movement aimed at fostering patriotism and unity among the Indian populace.

The campaign encourages people to hoist the Tiranga at their homes, take selfies with the flag, and upload them to the official Har Ghar Tiranga website.

Union Home Minister Amit Shah also urged citizens to participate in the third edition of the campaign with the same enthusiasm as in previous years. He emphasized that the movement has become a symbol of national pride, awakening a sense of unity across the country.
