In a major operation, Jharkhand’s Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS) has arrested seven terrorists in a series of coordinated raids across the state. The raids took place at 14 different locations, including Lohardaga’s Kairo and Hazaribagh’s Pelawal, as well as several other districts. The operation marks a significant success in the state’s ongoing efforts to curb terrorism.
The ATS recovered a cache of weapons from one of the terrorists apprehended in Lohardaga. Authorities have not yet disclosed the identities of the arrested individuals, but interrogation is currently underway to gather more information about their activities and connections.
This recent success follows another operation just a few days earlier, where Jharkhand police arrested two Maoists in the Palamu district. SP Reeshma Ramesan reported that the Maoists were captured in Pahi village, located in the Husainabad area.
The suspects, identified as Prashiddha Parhaiya, 27, and Daulat Yadav, 30, were found in possession of several weapons, including guns, pistols, and traditional arms.
