A massive fire broke out at the Ghutiari Sharif railway station on the Sealdah South line in South 24 Parganas, West Bengal, on Sunday. The blaze, which started at Platform Number 1, quickly spread, engulfing nearby shops and causing widespread damage.

Thick smoke billowed into the air as locals and railway police worked together to control the flames. The extent of the damage and the cause of the fire is yet to be determined, and emergency services have been deployed to the scene to assist in dousing the fire.

Eyewitnesses reported that the fire started suddenly, causing panic among those at the station. Fortunately, no injuries have been reported so far, but the destruction of property is significant. Authorities are closely monitoring the situation and are expected to launch an investigation into the cause of the fire once it is brought under control.

The Ghutiari Sharif station, a crucial point on the Sealdah South line, has been closed temporarily as a safety precaution. Train services along the route have been disrupted, and passengers are advised to seek alternative routes.
