The meeting between Medical College Hospitals and West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has been postponed. The meeting was scheduled to take place on September 12. However, amid the ongoing impasse between the junior doctors and the health department, the meeting was postponed until further orders.
As per reports, the review meeting was set to be held in Nabanna over the functioning of Health Facilities and the improvement of safety, security, and patient services in the state. Principals, Directors, and Medical Superintendent cum Vice-Principal (MSVPs) of all Medical College and Hospitals of the state were invited.
All Commissioners of Police and District Magistrates and the Chief Medical Officer of Health (CMOH) of all districts were also invited to this meeting.
