Sidharth Malhotra greets PM Narendra Modi with folded hands at Vijay Diwas Jashn: 'It was truly an honour'

• On the 51st Vijay Diwas, Sidharth Malhotra unveiled the teaser of his upcoming espionage thriller Mission Majnu, which will release on Netflix, 20th Jan, 2023

Actor Sidharth Malhotra was invited at the Vijay Diwas Jashn 2022. On Tuesday, he posted pictures from the event, which was also attended by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and President Droupadi Murmu. He shared his experience with fans via an Instagram post, many of whom said they were proud of him. 

Sidharth wrote, “It was truly an honour and such an incredible experience for me to be invited for the Vijay Diwas Jashn, by the Chief of Army. To top it all, to be in the esteemed company of The President of India, Smt. Droupadi Murmu and Hon. Prime Minister @narendramodi ji was even more special!”

“Interacting with the real heroes of our country, filled me with pride and so much emotion that this day is a memory I truly will cherish forever Big love and respect,” he added. In the picture, Sidharth and PM Modi are seen greeting each other with folded hands at the event.

On the 51st Vijay Diwas, Sidharth Malhotra unveiled the teaser of his upcoming espionage thriller Mission Majnu, which will release on Netflix. In the film, he plays a spy who can do anything for 'Hindustan ki hifaazat'. It also stars Rashmika Mandanna.Taking to Twitter, the actor posted the over one-minute-long video teaser of Mission Majnu. He captioned the post, "Iss Majnu ke kaam karne ka tarika alag hai (The style of working of this Majnu is different). Presenting the Official Teaser for MISSION MAJNU Only on Netflix, 20th Jan, 2023."
