Junior doctors in West Bengal have announced a rally at the CBI office on October 30 to demand justice for a female doctor from RG Kar Medical College. The West Bengal Junior Doctors Forum (WBJDF) hosted the six-hour conference, which focused on the critical issues surrounding the healthcare system in the state. The attendees discussed the recent tragic death of their colleague, which has intensified calls for systemic reforms within medical institutions. The conference concluded with a candle march, symbolizing solidarity and mourning for their fallen colleague, further amplifying the urgent need for change in how the medical community is treated and protected.

Prominent activist Kinjhal Nanda emphasized the importance of transparency, stating, "We need to uncover the truth and ensure that responsible parties face consequences."
