Major train disruptions in Bihar, 4 trains cancelled, key routes closed from 25-30 Nov

Train services between Kusiar village and Jogbani in Bihar will be suspended due to ongoing non-interlocking work at Araria Court. According to the Katihar Railway Division, the Jogbani-Siliguri train will remain closed from 25th to 30th November. This disruption is part of a larger set of cancellations affecting several local routes, including the suspension of three pairs of trains between Kusiar village and Jogbani until 27th November.

Trains 07553, 07554, 07559, and 07560 will be canceled on 25th and 26th November between Kusiar village and Jogbani. The cancellations are directly linked to the non-interlocking work, which is required to upgrade the railway infrastructure. Passengers on these routes will not have access to the affected services for the duration of the work.

Raja Kumar, CCI of NF Railway Katihar, confirmed that the non-interlocking work was necessary for railway system improvements. He stated, "Three pairs of regular trains, including the Jogbani-Siliguri service, will be disrupted due to the work, but all services will resume once the work is completed." The work is scheduled to finish by 30th November, after which regular operations will resume.

CTI Farbisganj Ravindra Kumar mentioned that while the canceled trains are generally daytime services, the morning and evening trains will continue as per their regular schedules. He added that passengers traveling during this period should seek alternative travel arrangements as the affected services will be unavailable for the next five days.
